According to Forbes, Orlando is the second fastest growing metro area in the USA behind Cape Coral.

Using data from Moody’s Analytics, Forbes compares the 100 biggest metropolitan areas on statistics such as employment, wages and house values. This is very good news for those investing in the Orlando real estate market.

Orlando residential market statistics for February 2017:

  • Median Prices up by 17%
  • Inventory down by 21%
  • Median price up 12% compared with last Feb

The University of Central Florida (UCF) have announced that they will begin construction of their campus at Creative Village Orlando in May 2017. Phase 1 will bring over 7,000 students downtown.

Digital tech gaming firm Arrow Sky LLC has also announced over 300 jobs by becoming the anchor tenant in Creative Village in Downtown Orlando. The firm has confirmed they are relocating their head office from Nashville to Orlando.

Orlando City Soccer Club  (Orlando City SC) new stadium opened in Downtown Orlando in February 2017 & cost $155 million to construct. The stadium has a capacity of 25500. Orlando City SC is a professional major league soccer team. Their most famous player is ex Brazilian International Ricardo Kaká who also played for Real Madrid

We already know that Orlando is a golfers’ paradise, it has close to 180 golf courses and is home to many PGA players. It gets better! Autumn 2017 sees the opening of Top Golf Orlando which will have over 100 climate controlled hitting bays. It will also have the most advanced technology to record accuracy and distance of player’s shots!

As if you needed further proof that Orlando is amazing… a record breaking 85 million tourists visited the area in 2016, they can’t all be wrong!
